Our doctors provide pathology services to existing patients in the form of routine blood and urine tests. Appointments are required and follow-up appointments with a doctor are required for the results. Our doctors also perform a variety of other pathology tests on all other days including cervical smears, skin biopsies and nail clippings.

skin checks

Both our doctors are trained to do skin checks. Dr De Bruyn has done additional training in the diagnosis and excision of all skin cancer lesions.

 

 

 

 

travel medicine

All our doctors are trained to advise on travel vaccines and can administer all vaccines except yellow fever vaccine. Please see your doctor 4-6 weeks before travelling as some vaccines are given as a sequence of vaccines over a few weeks. Immunisation is recommended for the purpose of protecting travellers from illness and preventing importation of disease into Australia.

women’s health

Our practice offers general advice and treatment for women’s health matters. This includes cervical screen tests, breast assessments and referrals for mammograms and ultrasounds and contraceptive advice. Implanon implants are inserted by both our doctors and Dr De Bruyn inserts intrauterine devices. Dr De Bruyn has a special interest in the management of perimenopause and menopause.

flu vaccines

Our practice stocks government funded flu vaccines and private vaccines for administration to our patients.

 

 

 

 

 

immunisations

Our practice stocks all childhood immunisations as well as catch up vaccines for the senior school vaccination program. In addition, we provide both government and private flu vaccines, whooping cough vaccines and adult tetanus vaccines. We provide Pfizer XBB.1.5 Covid vaccination. We also provide the new shingles vaccine available to patients >65yrs of age.
